Whilst washing her the other day the fuel cap door was open and the filler spout filled with several inches of water, before I could find something to remove it, all drained through the round cover into tank. Like a prat I drove to work. I thought i WAS GETTING 50+ mpg - according to the dash board.. Has anyone managed to change the fuel filter element on a 2009 2.0 TDCi. I have had a socket on the large hexagon nut on the filter housing but it wont turn. I did loosen the smaller nut which must be a water drain and drained about 2 litres of diesel out with no signs of it stopping, I think it
