Hello. I am new to this forum. I have a 2010 Kia Ceed 3 estate 1.6 crdi automatic. I have the same issue, mine has been stopped on the slip road to a38 without any notice. It is not starting at all, I have the exact same 3 codes coming up. P0253, P0031 and P0340. I have changed the fuel filter (mann wk8019) and cleaned the fuel sender in the tank. Indalo. A brief piece of internet research reveals that a Ceed diesel owner reported an instance of brake failure on the Honest John website in September 2020. The KIA dealer, Beadle's in Coulsdon, Surrey, received harsh condemnation from the owner for their part in the diagnosis and repair.
Just wondering if you got to the bottom of your issue as I have an identical problem with 2015 kia ceed crdi 1.4. The garage has changed the diesel filter but still the same. Takes about 5 seconds to start or sometimes starts on second attempt.

Our 2013 Kia Sportage 1.7 CRDi has recently developed a problem with gear selection. This is specifically affecting the selection of first gear, whether from neutral or any other gear, and it is also difficult to get out of reverse. It is very likely your starter motor is not turning quickly enough. If your car is 10 year old or older, check your starter motor. These are the main two reasons why your car is not starting when it is cold. You can check your injectors, but if the car runs fine I would be surprised if this is your problem.
Constant road noise/rumble from front of vehicle. I'm now on my second Kia Ceed diesel and find the road noise on the newer Ceed 2 is a problem which was never an issue on on the earlier model. Regardless of road condition, there is a constant 'rumble'/'drone' from the front end, combined with what sounds like the noise of front wheel rotation.

Hi, I have a problem where my cee'd is difficult to start in the morning. It turns over fast and doesn't slow over the time it takes to start. No excessive smoking, it splutters for a split second when it does start but then runs perfectly fine. It's done about 85k now and it's had this problem since the beginning of the year.

The sat nav seems to be unable to locate any satellites and is showing the cars location approx 100 miles from home. I have gone into the nav settings and checked the reception of the satellites, and it constantly is showing 0 available. This 2005 Kia Sorento 4x4 ended up at the dealer service department after an intermittent crank no-start became permanent. Parts cannon already fired a fuel 9lwMtfr.
