2006 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 (VT750DC) 5.0. Having not ridden for 15+ years, I decided on this for a new bike. Great looking red with flames and solid performance, although after about 60 miles there is some pain in the lower back and butt, also the forward controls could be a littler further out about 2-3 inches. Honda is legendary for reliability, so I felt very comfortable buying this bike used with only 5,000 miles on it, particularly at less than $3500! The Shadow Spirit 750 has a very low seat height, something on the order of 26", so it is very easy for the new rider to feel comfortable and confident.

All three were always shaft drive in the 1100 series, and I believe, the spirit, and ACE were/are chain driven in the 750 models, with the AERO being shaft drive. I have a 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit- tha manual said the oil capacity is 2.5 qts, but when i recently changed it and replaced the filter the oil level was too low..does anyone know if the capacity of 2.5 qts incls an oil filter change too?
